hvn been up to this place ever since the semester break
no doubt, it is because I am out of NTU
and having a break from all the stress
I had many plans for the summer holidays
but, now since there is only a month left,
i guess, i didn't do much in the holidays, except for lazing around, loitering the shopping complexes, going on a movie marathon, continuous session of tea wif frens etc
so much so that, my mum started asking me, how productive are you?
true enuf, i have been wasting my holidays
i have planned to: practice my guitar, brush up on my thermodynamics, revise all visual C++, flip back the basic english grammar that i hv long forgotten, do some mathematica tut, touch a little on my accounting and the list goes on n on
however,
i did not even touch my guitar;
my thermo textbook is stil in the box which i brought back from S'pore;
C++ is a little better, at least i hv read a little of the common engineering notes;
grammar? no way!!! all i hv done was reading a couple of novels!! eg, harry potter, romance...;
mathematica.. hmm, i did put a little effort at 1st, but that was a month ago, whn the motivation inside me to learn is stil strong, but now, the flame has extinguished;
accounting, haiz, nvrmind mentioning it... hahahaha
oh yeah... i hv been up to something these few weeks
not of my own interest, but bcos my mum wants me to do it
which is, goin jogging everyday...
i hvn been able to jog everyday, but i hv been making improvements
from running 2 rounds, to 3 rounds and now 5 rounds
1 round is apporx. 500m...
hmm.. i actually hated jogging, bcos it gets the breath out of me
suffocates me, leaving me with cold hands, feeling that my throat n breathing tract shrinking and sometimes with fainting spells
but, this time i started very slow, from using 10 mins for a single round,
til now, i can finish 1 round within 5 mins
hmm, my body is building up its stamina
at this point, i do agree with my fren who says that jogging and running is not about stamina
but it is about your determination to finish the race in your mind
thru out my run, these words became my motivation
guess what is my biggest motivation?
it is the music that bangs in my ears as i run... i finally bought a Sony mp4
due to music, i manage to run 5 rounds with not much effort
music drains your stress out, it helps to turn your focus away from the physical lethargy your body is carrying every single step you take
music devours the soul, penetrate every single cell
follow the rhythm as you run
a few recommendation: Save you--- simple plan, Second chance--faber drive, no surprise--chris daughtry, no boundaries--adam lambert/kris allen, sleepless nights--faber drive, i don't wanna be in love, pls don't stop the music--rihanna, Jenny--the click five
among these, "no boundaries" is 1 of the best, bcos the lyrics is also applicable
"every step you take is harder to believe, you make it thru the rain... there r no boundaries"
and "save you" has a very very good rhythm to suits your step
the trick is, choose songs which has loud base and strong rhythm
songs from Josh Groban, iL Divo will be to no avail
hope to build up good stamina and physique b4 goin back to S'pore
there just many thoughts and aims in my mind
just lack of the determination to carry those plans,
for exp, photoshop, until now, i stil dunno how to use it
tried to do some amendments n designs using photoshop
but all it does, is getting me running to the wall
arghhhh.... i nid more patience n DETERMINATION!!!!!
any1 hu noes photoshop, can help me out? i wanna design t-shirt..
